These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of numbergrove.com (the “Site”), operated by Number Grove (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Educational purpose; no professional advice

The calculators, articles, and other content on the Site are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute, and are not a substitute for, professional financial, tax, legal, mortgage, investment, accounting, or other advice. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of content on the Site without first consulting a qualified professional who can review your individual circumstances.

2. No fiduciary or advisory relationship

Use of the Site does not create any fiduciary, advisory, broker-client, or attorney-client relationship between you and us. We are not a mortgage lender, mortgage broker, financial advisor, or law firm, and we do not originate loans or place loans with lenders.

3. Accuracy of calculations

Calculator outputs are estimates based solely on the inputs you provide and on assumptions described in or implied by the calculator. Real-world loan amortization depends on many factors that the calculators may not capture, including but not limited to escrow, taxes, insurance, private mortgage insurance (PMI), homeowner's association dues, prepayment penalties, lender-specific recast or refinance policies, interest accrual conventions (e.g., daily vs. monthly), and changes in market interest rates. Always confirm specifics directly with your mortgage servicer or a qualified professional before relying on any result.

4. No warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

5. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR ANY CONTENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, in which case the foregoing applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

7. Third-party content and links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services (including affiliate links). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

8. Affiliate relationships

10. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.
